The Veterans Assistance Commission was established in 1886 by the Ohio Legislature to assist Veterans and their families in time of need. Today, the Henry County Veterans Service Commission provides financial assistance, referrals, information and aid in obtaining Department of Veterans Affairs benefits.

There are many benefits and services available to Veterans and their families. However, these benefits are often overlooked or under-utilized by those eligible to take advantage of them.
